What to write in Christmas Cards? Unique situation!?
I am planning on sending out Christmas cards to the nursing home in my town. What are some nice, thoughtful messages I can include on them? I don’t want something really generic like “Merry Christmas!” I want something meaningful, something that will put a smile on their face. These people have no one.. I want them to know that someone cares.
It’s very sweet of you to be doing this. How about telling them exactly what you’ve written…tell them you’re thinking of them this Christmas. Maybe something along the lines of “Thinking of You this Christmas and wishing you the Merriest of Christmases. May the Peace and Love of Christmas be yours.”
I know it may sound a little hokey, but it means a lot to someone who is in a nursing home.
