Would Jesus Gauges be Sacrilegious or Offensive?
I know that wearing rosary beads is considered offensive (I’m a practicing Catholic and would never dream of it). I also know that I am encouraged to wear several pieces of jewelry with Mary, Jesus, the saints, etc. on it. Example: Pendants, saint bracelets…
I’m wondering whether my friends or fellow parishioners would be offended by my earrings. I am not trying to mock Christ in any way, and I am more trying to make a statement. They’re fake plugs and I love them. When we went to order them, my mom asked if it was sacrilegious. I wouldn’t think so, but I wanted to hear your opinion.
